I don't even know what to say. English 100 is overwhelming. I like that we talk about the books in class because if we didn't I would have no idea what was going on. I'm not very good at understanding Falling Into Theory. Actually when we had to read Viswanathan I ended up throwing the book on the floor when i was sitting on my bed. I had to read the lines more than once to even attempt to understand it. Like i just dont understand why this book has to be so complicated. I am not good at talking about it in class because i have no feedback because reading it just makes me mad. I like Las Casas better even though its a little gruesome. Gabe is a great teacher and helps me understand it. But i feel like i dont know what the authors of the stories in Falling Into Theory are trying to say. They honestly make me not want to be an English major. But i am going to try and stick it out, even though i want to throw Falling Into Theory across the room.
